100 jobs for Nypro Healthcare in Bray

The jobs announcement came after the company decided to further expand its medical device operations in Ireland.

NYPRO HEALTHCARE HAS announced the creation of 100 jobs for their medical devices centre in Bray, Co Wicklow.

With the creation of 160 new jobs in the last 24 months together with today’s jobs announcement, it will bring Nypro’s total Irish workforce to 460 people.

The company has grown considerably since changing its focus in 2008 from the electronic industry to that of drug delivery and diagnostics.

Their client list includes some of the top pharmacy brands in the world, including eight of the top 10 global pharmaceutical companies.

Nypro, which operates in 41 locations in 14 countries, employing over 17,000 people, has had a presence in Ireland since 1980.

Taoiseach Enda Kenny, together with Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation Richard Bruton, made the jobs announcement today.

James O’Gorman, Vice President of Drug Delivery and Diagnostics of Nypro says they expanded in Ireland because it “has proven to be a very successful location” and they are “proud” to continue their work here.
