WHEN THE HATERS all line up against you, you know you’re doing something right.
There was no great sympathy for Tom Brady and the New England Patriots this morning after they were denied back-to-back AFC Championships by the Baltimore Ravens in Foxboro last night.
Rated nine-point underdogs by the oddsmakers, the Ravens pulled off a convincing upset and won 28-13 to set up a sibling showdown between Harbaugh brothers John and Jim (whose San Francisco 49ers beat the Atlanta Falcons) at Super Bowl XLVII on 3 February.
A glum Brady made plenty of front pages this morning, most of them in Massachusetts unsurprisingly.
