2. #BILLS BILLS BILLS: The names of 100,000 tenants have been handed over to Irish Water by local authorities and landlords, according to the Irish Independent. This means they will now be able to receive bills in the coming weeks.

3. #OVERSIGHT: The three authorities that supervise An Garda Síochána should be merged, the Association of Garda Sergeants and Inspectors believes. The group is holding its annual conference today.

4. #PAYOUTS: The Irish Times reports that as a result of several cases of medical malpractice during births, the HSE has paid out almost €67 million in compensation over the past five years.
