1. #DOPING: The Sunday Times and German broadcaster ARD/WRD have obtained access to the results of 12,000 blood tests from 5,000 athletes. In a major report, the outlets say a third of medals won in endurance events at the Olympics and World Championships between 2001 and 2012 were won by athletes who recorded suspicious tests.

2. #OPINION POLL: There’s bad news for the government, with both Fine Gael and Enda Kenny losing support in the latest Sunday Independent/Millward Brown poll.

3. #IRISH WATER: A future government will be unable to scrap water charges without breaching the EU’s water directives, according to the Sunday Business Post.

4. #FIRES: Dublin Fire Brigade battled two “substantial” fires in the capital last night.

5. #DEBRIS: Sky News is reporting  an object that could be the door of a plane has washed up on Reunion Island. The object  was found at a different location to other debris that is currently undergoing tests in France to find out if it belongs to MH370.

6. #ANGLO: Two of the Anglo bankers jailed for hiding accounts linked to Seán FitzPatrick shared a cell with Jimmy Devaney on their first night in prison, according to the Irish Mail on Sunday. Devaney was found guilty of the manslaughter of Marie Green last week.

7.  #LOUTH: The Sunday World reports that Jim Quigley was buried alongside his wife Marie in Louth. It is believed the couple died in a murder-suicide.

8. #DENIS O’BRIEN: A Department of Finance official told IBRC to not sell loans to businessman Denis O’Brien even if it meant losing out on €100 million in revenue, according to the Sunday Business Post.

9. #CORK: The Defence Forces dealt with a “crudely constructed hoax” at a hotel in Cork last night.
