1. #AIR ASIA Divers at the crash site of the Air Asia plane in the Java Sea have recovered the bodies of six people who were still strapped to their seats, the Wall Street Journal is reporting.

2. #COURT A man is due in court later over Tuesday night’s fatal stabbing in Dun Laoghaire. He’s been held for questioning at the town’s Garda station.

3. #TEACHERS Despite last minute pleas from the Taoiseach and the Education Minister, the country’s second level teachers are still going on strike today. Pickets will be placed at schools.

4. #ATTACK Thirteen people have been killed in shelling at a bus stop in the Ukrainian city of Donetsk, the BBC is reporting.

5. #BLAZE Dublin Fire Brigade is attending a blaze in Crumlin this morning. It’s believed to be at a church off Stanaway Park, according to RTÉ. 

6. #DIRECT PROVISION 61 people have died in Direct Provision in Ireland since 2002 – 16 of whom were children aged five and under, according to newly-released figures.
