FOOTBALL HAS A play-acting problem. There’s no question about that, you can see examples every weekend in the Premier League, La Liga, basically wherever you look.
The week before last we saw this plainly embarrassing moment from West Ham defender James Tomkins where he was pushed in the chest but somehow seemed to suffer a severe jab of pain to his face.

Tomkins’s effort is horrendous and embarrassing. He certainly won’t be bragging about that to his mates. We think we’ve found an even more embarrassing one, however.
On Saturday Leeds United beat Derby County 2-0 but it was the actions of Leeds striker Adryan that really stood out for us.
Barely clipped with a slide tackle he goes down, rolls around a bit and then seems to feel a second burst of pain as he leaps into the air somewhat in the fashion of a seal.
