NEWCASTLE ARE BOTTOM of the Premier League table after four games and a lot of people are wondering how much longer Alan Pardew will last in the job. Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher analysed their insipid display against Southampton and were scathing in their assessment.
Of course, Pardew’s contract with Newcastle runs until 2020 so if Mike Ashley decides to keep him, Newcastle fans will only have to put up with him for another six seasons.
If the Newcastle manager is let go, I don’t think many football fans will shed a tear either. This was just one of the many, many incidents Pardew has been involved in over the years that have rubbed supporters the wrong way.
