'I always beat him at Fifa!' - Messi fired up to face Aguero

The Argentina captain says he is looking forward to the last 16 clash after Barca were drawn against City again

LIONEL MESSI SAYS he is eagerly looking forward to facing Sergio Aguero when Barcelona take on Manchester City in the Champions League last 16.

The English champions were paired with Luis Enrique’s side in Monday’s draw for the second season in a row, with Barca emerging as 4-1 aggregate victors in last term’s encounter.

Messi admits he is excited for the clash in early 2015 – especially as it will pit him against Argentina team-mate Aguero.

“Looking forward to playing in the next round of the Uefa Champions League. It’ll be really nice to face my friend Sergio Aguero as I always beat him at FIFA, but let’s see what happens on the pitch,” he wrote on his official Facebook page.

Barca reached the knockout phase this season as winners of Group F following their 3-1 win over Paris Saint-Germain on matchday six.

City, meanwhile, went through behind Bayern Munich after their crucial 2-0 win over Roma.
