BEFORE YOU ASK, yes, it is a slow news day. It’s Christmas Eve.
By now, you’ve probably already seen the frankly unnerving picture of a topless Tiger Woods posing as what he calls “Mac Daddy Santa.”
Here, look at it again anyway.
It’s a Christmas tradition that his kids love, apparently. The rest of the world is decidedly more ambiguous about the whole thing.
Not to be outdone, Tiger’s fellow PGA Tour pro Andrew Johnston was inspired to create his own festive alter ego – Mac Beef Santa.
“Xmas tradition that my mates love,” he posted on Instagram.
Somebody really needs to tell these lads that Santa wears a big red suit, and that hurtling through the skies on an open-top sleigh while topless would be dangerously impractical and could have serious health implications.
Then again if, like Tiger, you’re living in Florida where the temperatures on Christmas Eve are in the mid-to-high 20s, you can probably get away with a thing or two.
