Man and woman in their 20s arrested in €100k drugs seizure in Dublin

Cannabis worth €100,000 was found after gardaí raided a premises in west Dublin.

TWO PEOPLE IN their 20s have been arrested after gardaí seized cannabis worth an estimated €100,000 in Dublin.

The drugs were discovered after gardaí from Crumlin raided a premises in Coolmine in west Dublin on Thursday.

The search was carried out as part of an ongoing investigation into drug dealing in Dublin.

A man aged 24 and a woman aged 23 were arrested and detained at Sundrive Road garda station. Both have since been released without charge and files are being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

In a statement, a garda spokesperson said that investigations such as this one “use advanced analytical and intelligence methods to disrupt criminals and dismantle their networks”.
