Three arrested after gun found in car in Dundalk

The men – one aged 40 and the other two in their late 20s – were arrested at the scene.

GARDAÍ HAVE ARRESTED three men after seizing a gun from a car in Louth.

The arrests happened at Greenacres in Dundalk shortly after 9pm last night.

The men – one aged 40 and the other two in their late 20s – were arrested at the scene and are being questioned at Dundalk Garda Station.

The men are being detained under the Offences Against the State Act.

Gardaí said this morning that the investigation is ongoing.
