Poll: What was the biggest sports story of 2013?

From Lance Armstrong’s admissions to BOD & ROG axings and Fergie’s retirement, it has been a year jam-packed with great sporting tales.

LANCE ARMSTRONG KICKED off 2013 with so many admissions of wrongdoing that his interview with Oprah Winfrey had to be stretched out over two evenings.

The following month, Paralympic sprint champion Oscar Pistorius was arrested for allegedly shooting his partner Reeva Steenkamp [his trial will take place in 2014]. Shell-shock was the order of the day and it kept coming, in March, as Ronan O’Gara was dropped by Declan Kidney and never played for Ireland again.

The big stories kept coming and we have had some job filtering them down to a top 10 for you to vote on. Have a read of our list and vote for your biggest sporting story of 2013.
