THE BOLTON WANDERERS Twitter account landed itself in hot water yesterday.
It felt obliged to promote the fact that the club’s game was being shown on Sky Sports, rather than encouraging fans to attend it in person.
The unfortunate tweet was subsequently deleted after it was met with an angry response (as can be seen below).
And to add injury to insult, the hosts ended up losing the game 1-0.
