Teenager arrested after €100k drugs haul in north Dublin

Gardaí searched a house in Santry this morning.

A 19-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested after gardaí seized about €100,000 worth of cannabis herb at a house in north Dublin.

The seizure was made when gardaí raided a house in Santry this morning.

Officers say they discovered a large quantity of cannabis herb in the house and have estimated the street value of the drugs to be in the region of €100,000.

A 19-year-old man was in the house when the search was carried out and he has now been detained for questioning.

He is being held at Swords garda station and can be held for up to 24 hours.
