Look at this pile of cannabis seized at Dublin Port yesterday

The 85 kilogrammes of cannabis was discovered in animal feed.

HERBAL CANNABIS WITH an estimated street value of €1.7 million was seized at Dublin Port yesterday.

Officers from Revenue’s Customs Service seized the 85 kilogrammes of cannabis after officers scanned a container of animal feed and found anomalies.

An x-ray scanner revealed 85 small packages of vacuum-packed drugs hidden within large cartons of the animal feed.

Revenue says that that the drugs were destined for the north inner city area.
