Cathal Pendred wants to fight CM Punk at Croke Park next year

LAST WEEK WE brought you news that former WWE champion CM Punk was planning to try his hand in the UFC after signing with MMA’s elite franchise.

The 36-year-old is set to enter the Octagon in 2015 and Irish welterweight Cathal Pendred has suggested that he could his first opponent. Pendred tweeted:

The Dubliner then went on to add that he would love it to be as part of a co-main event also involving a title shot for Conor McGregor against featherweight champion Jose Aldo at Croke Park.
