THE SECOND LONGEST title reign in UFC history is over.

Henry Cejudo stunned Demetrious Johnson in the co-main event at UFC 227 in Los Angeles overnight, stripping ‘Mighty Mouse’ of his title to become only the second flyweight champion in the organisation’s history.

Johnson won the inaugural belt at 125lbs on 22 September 2012 — reigning for 2,142 days and successfully defending the strap 11 times, including a first-round KO of Cejudo in April 2016.

But the LA native reversed the form in the Fight of the Night to take a split decision after five rounds — 48-47, 47-48, 48-47 — and hand Johnson his first defeat since October 2011.

In the main event, TJ Dillashaw left no doubt as to who is the king of the bantamweights as he defended his title with a ruthless first-round TKO of his former training partner turned rival Cody Garbrandt.

Dillashaw rocked Garbrandt with two big right hands in the opening round and then pounced for the finish, delivering a devastating knee and a flurry of punches to force referee Herb Dean to step in.
