OVER THE PAST two weeks, we were offering four readers a chance to join us in Chicago for the historic first-ever test between Ireland and New Zealand on US soil.

Thanks to Cadbury Boost, we had match tickets, flights and four nights’ accommodation for four people to give away for the game at Soldier Field on Saturday, 5 November.

As you can imagine, we had thousands of entries and yesterday we drew the winner at random.

Here’s how we let Bríd Holohan — a massive rugby fan and player who works as a research scientist in Dublin — and her friends Amanda, Niamh and Mairead know they would be joining us in the Windy City:

Amanda in particular didn’t know whether to laugh or cry she was so happy:

After delivering the news, Bríd had to head to rugby training, appropriately enough:

And the news came at just the right time for Amanda:

Flat tyres aside, the four won’t have long to wait until they get to watch the Haka up close and personal in Chicago.
