AS YOU’VE PROBABLY heard by now, Ireland under-19s secured a historic 1-0 victory over Spain yesterday at the UEFA Women’s European Championship.

As you’ll notice, it was hardly a Stephanie Roche-style wonder strike, but the Irish team won’t care, having gotten off to a hugely encouraging start at the tournament.
