COLOMBIA, THE TRUE South American purveyors of Joga Bonito at this World Cup, are cruising to top spot in Group C as they lead Japan.
Juan Cuadrado had given them a 17th minute lead from the penalty spot after Yasuyuki Konno felled Adrian Ramos on a counter-attack.
Cuadrado made no mistake from 12 yards.
And it wouldn’t be a Colombia goal without a snazzy little dance move. This time, it was time for the Zombie-walk:
Japan managed to draw level on the stroke of half-time, this lovely header from Shinji Okazaki sending them at the break with the score 1 – 1.
Colombia were back in business 10 minutes after the break, re-taking the lead thanks to his fine Jackson Martinez finish and he would double his tally in the final 10 minutes.

There was still time for more brilliance as James Rodriguez rounded off the scoring with this sublime effort.
