ALTHOUGH THEY ARRIVED home with maximum points, Connacht’s trip to Russia turned into a bit of a nightmare last weekend as they became stranded in Siberia.
A technical fault meant the squad were unable to fly home after the game against Enisei-STM as scheduled. Instead, they arrived back in Shannon on Wednesday morning after an exhausting return trip.
Nonetheless, it was a trip of a lifetime and we’re sure those involved will have stories to tell for years.
