TWO OLD FRIENDS met after Real Madrid’s Super Cup success in Cardiff last night.
Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice for the Spanish giants as they triumphed over Sevilla and after the full-time whistle, he met with his former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson and looked pretty happy to see him.

At the game as part of UEFA’s technical committee, Ferguson decided to name Ronaldo as the man of the match (despite Toni Kroos delivering a magnificent individual performance) and presented the Portuguese attacker with the award at a post-game press conference.
Upon receiving the accolade, Ronaldo commented:
I am happy because I scored these two goals and I want to thank Sir Alex for handing me the man of the match trophy. He helped me a lot when I was 18 in Manchester and I want to say I respect him and thank him so much for everything he did in my career.”
