Dan Martin climbs to second overall after great day at Paris-Nice

The Irishman was third today.

IRELAND’S DAN MARTIN has moved up to second overall position at Paris-Nice.

Martin finished third today on the mountain top finish on the penultimate stage up the col de Couillole.

Martin just took third on the line, 32 seconds behind stage winner Richie Porte. Alberto Contador claimed second.

Martin is expected to be on the attack in tomorrow’s final stage.
