SAN FRANCISCO KICKER David Akers wrote himself into the record books when he landed this monster 63-yard field goal to end the first half of the 49ers visit to the Green Bay Packers on Sunday.

Akers joins Tom Dempsey, Jason Elam and Sebastian Janikowski as one of only four players to score from the distance in NFL history.

The 49ers went on win 30-22.
