It hasn't taken David Moyes long to pick up the Spanish lingo as evidenced in this press conference

The former Man United boss has followed in the footsteps of Steve McClaren and Joey Barton in delivering a linguistic masterclass.

DAVID MOYES HAS enjoyed a productive start to life in charge of Real Sociedad and it seems his first few Spanish lessons are already paying off as he looks to break the language barrier.

Moyes has conducted his press conferences in English but ahead of Sociedad’s trip to Oviedo in the Copa del Rey this evening, the former Manchester United manager was determined to throw in a couple of words from his Spanish vocabulary.

Steve McClaren famously did something similar when he was in charge of FC Twente by embracing the Dutch accent during a TV interview ahead of their Champions League clash with Arsenal.

And who can forgot Joey Barton. When at Marseille, Barton spoke in broken English/French/Scouse during a press conference. What is it about British footballers and managers abroad?
