Gardaí arrest two over 2013 murder of Dean Johnson

A total of nine arrests have now been arrested in connection with the man’s death.

DETECTIVES INVESTIGATING THE death of Dean Johnson have made two further arrests.

The 21 year old was shot multiple times as he walked through Harelawn Green in Clondalkin in August 2013.

Several arrests have been made in connection with the murder investigation, including three men in October last year.

This brings to nine the number of arrests that have been made in connection with his murder.

Previous searches carried out by gardaí investigating the murder led to the discovery of a sawn off shotgun, ammunition and drugs.

A woman (31) was arrested yesterday, but was later released without charge after being detained at Ronastown Garda Station.

Also yesterday evening, a man (31) was arrested. He is currently being held at Lucan Garda Station.
