A definitive ranking of the 7 best Euro 2016 Après Match skits

Roy Keane interviews for the vacant England job and more gems.

Updated at 17.00

AMAZINGLY, FOR AN idea that’s been produced in one form or another for over 20 years, Après Match remains as funny and entertaining as ever in 2016.

The post-match RTÉ sketch show, largely but not exclusively focusing on figures in the world of football, has again been one of the highlights of the channel’s major tournament coverage this summer.

From Sky Sports News’ hyperbolic coverage of various football-related controversies to Roy Keane interviewing for the England job, the trio of Barry Murphy, Risteárd Cooper and Gary Cooke have delivered once again with a series of spot-on impersonations and cutting satire.
