DERRY CITY’S NEWEST signing was presented to the media this afternoon.

Five-year-old ‘Wee’ Oliver Dickey made the trip to their training ground this afternoon for a meet-and-greet with manager Roddy Collins and the squad before his official unveiling, where he was given his own personalised Derry City jersey.

Coleraine native Oliver was born with cerebral palsy and needs Selective Dorsal Rhizotmy (SDR) surgery in St Louis, America, to help him walk.

His parents are hoping to raise the £60,000 needed to travel. Donations are up to £28,500 so they’re nearly halfway to the target.
