Dowling set for Limerick start

The Na Piarsaigh youngster will make his championship debut against Tipperary on Sunday afternoon.

NA PIARSAIGH’S RISING star Shane Dowling will make his first championship start for Limerick in the Munster SHC quarter-final against Tipperary.

The 19-year-old has been named at wing-forward by Treaty boss John Allen for Sunday’s clash in Semple Stadium.

Croom’s Conor Allis, who starred alongside Dowling for Limerick’s U21 last season, is also handed his championship debut at centre-forward.

Na Piarsaigh’s David Breen captains the side from wing-forward.
