Draw takes place for first round of All-Ireland SFC qualifiers

Derry face Sligo in the standout game while Mickey Harte’s Tyrone side must travel to Tullamore to meet Offaly.

THE DRAW HAS taken place this morning for the first round of this year’s All-Ireland senior football qualifiers.

The 16 teams who made the early round exits from the provincial senior football championships were all in the draw as they get set to embark on the backdoor route.

Derry’s clash with Sligo is the standout tie while Mickey Harte’s Tyrone side must travel to Tullamore to face the Faithful county in their backdoor clash.

The games are set to take place on the weekend of June 29th and 30th with the details to be confirmed later today.

The draw took place on RTE’s Morning Ireland programme.
