MAYO AWAIT THE winners of today’s All-Ireland semi final clash between Dublin and Kerry at Croke Park.
While James Horan’s men have been impressive for large swathes of the championship, supporters from the capital and The Kingdom would fancy their chances were they to reach the final on 22 September.
Dublin swatted aside the Leinster challenges of Westmeath and Kildare but needed to go up through the gears to shake off Meath in their provincial decider. They had more than enough to see off Cork in their SFC quarter final but were grateful for goalkeeper Stephen Cluxton’s accuracy from frees and 45s.
Kerry got the better of Waterford and Cork to claim the Munster crown but looked sluggish against Cavan, particularly in the second half.
The two sides share 59 All-Ireland trophies between them but who will triumph this afternoon?
