Kilkenny 1-24 Dublin 0-16
67 mins – The game is petering to an inevitable conclusion. TJ Reid strikes over another.

It’s been a disappointing second-half as our commenters have pointed out.

Martin McKenna:

Simple as ,you are not going to be successful at the top level if your half forwards cannot win their own ball or at least break even,at least 3 points given away from short pullouts, happening all year?

Malvolio32

And all of a sudden you’ve gone from being in the game to being ten points behind. Seems to happen teams against kk, seems to sneak up on them???

Kilkenny 1-25 Dublin 0-16
70 mins – Conor Fogarty with his first point of the game for Kilkenny.

Sub: Chris Bennett in for Dublin for Dotsy O’Callaghan.

Full-Time: Kilkenny 1-25 Dublin 0-16

And that’s it, Kilkenny’s ruthless second-half display sees them power into the Leinster final. The qualifiers beckon for Dublin, a disappointing outcome for them after such a positive start. Thanks for joining us this evening.
