Gavin hands McMahon All-Ireland final starting berth

The Ballymun Kickhams defender is the only change to the side which defeated Kerry last time out.

DUBLIN BOSS JIM Gavin has made just one change to the side which defeated Kerry in the All-Ireland SFC semi-final.

Philly McMahon comes in to the side at corner back for the All-Ireland decider, replacing Kevin O’Brien.

The Ballymun back is the only tweak to the 2011 champions line-up as Stephen Cluxton is named to lead out the side which will once again have Paul Mannion, Paddy Andrews and Bernard Brogan at its spearhead.

Dublin (v Mayo): Stephen Cluxton (captain); Philly McMahon, Rory O’Carroll, Jonny Cooper; James McCarthy, Ger Brennan, Jack McCaffrey; Michael D MacAuley, Cian O’Sullivan; Paul Flynn, Ciaran Kilkenny, Diarmuid Connolly; Paul Mannion, Paddy Andrews, Bernard Brogan.
