Leinster SFC: No change for Gilroy's Dubs

The All-Ireland champions have named an unchanged side for Sunday’s semi-final against Wexford.

DUBLIN MANAGER PAT GILROY has decided not to tamper with a winning formula, naming an unchanged starting XV for Sunday’s Leinster SFC semi-final against Wexford in Croke Park.

The champions scarcely needed to get out of second gear to see off Louth in their opening fixture of the summer and Gilroy has stuck with same line-up that coasted to a 2-22 to 0-12 win that afternoon.

Kevin McMenamon is again named at full-forward flanked by Diarmuid Connolly and Bernard Brogan, who finished with an individual 2-5 on his return to action against the Wee County.

Denis Bastick partners Eamon Fennell in midfield. The Tempelogue man impressed after he was handed his chance as an 11th-hour replacement for Michael Dara MacAuley who injured himself cycling in the run-up to the quarter-final.

Dublin (SFC v Wexford): S Cluxton; P McMahon, R O’Carroll, M Fitzsimons; J McCarthy, G Brennan, K Nolan; D Bastick, E Fennell; B Cullen, A Brogan, P Flynn; D Connolly, K McMenamon, B Brogan.
