TIPPERARY BOSS EAMON O’Shea has wielded the axe ahead of Sunday’s Allianz HL Division 1A tie against Kilkenny.
The Semple Stadium showdown sees O’Shea overhaul his team in the wake of their heavy opening round defeat to Cork.
In all the Tipperary boss has made eight changes to his team with Darren Gleeson starting in goal in place of Brendan Cummins as Tipperary are set to share the goalkeeping duties between the pair during the league.
Other changes see Michael Cahill and Conor O’Mahony drafted into their defence while Adrian Ryan will start in midfield. In attack Lar Corbett, John O’Brien, Eoin Kelly and Pa Bourke all are handing starting berths.
Injury rules out Shane McGrath while work commitments prevent Patrick Maher from play while Conor O’Brien, Johnny Ryan, Seamus Callanan, Brian O’Meara and Shane Bourke are others to miss out.
