ED SHEERAN HAS been given a cameo role in the latest installment of the Bridget Jones films.
The English singer-songwriter stars in a scene alongside Rene Zellweger in Bridget Jones’s Baby, which was released in cinemas last week.
As he gets up on stage to sing at the music festival, Sheeran is wearing the 2014 International Rules GAA jersey — clearly sponsored by the association’s online streaming service GAAGO.
It’s an odd choice of clothing to wear for the rom-com, but it seems footage from last summer’s Croke Park gigs was used in the film, which would explain it.
