Underwhelming FA Cup fourth round draw keeps giants apart

The Premier League’s biggest names have avoided each other for the next round at least.

THE FA CUP fourth round draw has seen the likes of Man United, Man City, Arsenal and Liverpool avoid each other.

There is at least potentially one all-Premier League tie to look forward to in Chelsea against Stoke, although that is dependent on Jose Mourinho’s men making it past Derby this afternoon.

Meanwhile, League One side Stevenage will have a giant-killing chance with the visit of Everton to Broadhall Way. The winners of the third round clash between Bournemouth and Burton should have the opportunity to host Liverpool in the fourth round.

Arsenal have been drawn at home to Coventry, while Man City will host one of Bristol City and Watford if they make it past Blackburn in the third round. Man United face a trip to Birmingham, Crawley or Bristol Rovers if they overcome Swansea

Here’s the fourth round draw in full:

  • Sunderland/Carlisle v Kidderminster/Peterborough
  • Bolton v Cardiff
  • Southampton v Yeovil
  • Huddersfield v Charlton/Oxford
  • Port Vale/Plymouth v Brighton & Hove Albion
  • Nottingham Forest v Ipswich/Preston
  • Southend v Hull
  • Rochdale v Macclesfield/Sheffield Wednesday
  • Arsenal v Coventry
  • Stevenage v Evert0n
  • Wigan/MK Dons v Crystal Palace
  • Derby/Chelsea v Stoke
  • Blackburn/Man City v Bristol City/Watford
  • Bournemouth/Burton v Liverpool/Oldham
  • Birmingham/Bristol Rovers/Crawley v Man United/Swansea
  • Sheffield United v Norwich/Fulham
