Final Four

Fierce FA Cup final still on cards as north London rivals kept apart in semi draw

Chelsea will take on Spurs while Arsenal will battle it out with Manchester City next month.

ARSENAL AND TOTTENHAM fans will be licking their lips at the prospect of facing each other in the FA Cup final after the fierce rivals were kept apart in the semi-final draw tonight.

With four big hitters remaining in the competition, any combination of ties was going to be appealing but with Tottenham to face Chelsea, who knocked out holders Manchester United earlier tonight, and Arsenal taking on Manchester City, a humdinger of a final is still on the cards.

The Gunners last lifted the trophy in 2015 while their north London rivals Spurs haven’t won the historic competition since 1991.

Chelsea, who are chasing a league and FA Cup double, last won the trophy in 2012, 12 months after Manchester City’s most recent success.

The semi-final matches will be played at Wembley on the weekend of 22-23 April.

Semi-final draw: Chelsea v Tottenham, Arsenal v Manchester City.
