THE UFC HAS waited 23 years to stage an event in New York City and their debut in the Big Apple is now just four days away.

As you’d expect, the organisation has been ramping up the hype this week for what is being billed as the most stacked card they’ve ever put together.

Conor McGregor’s bid for history and the UFC lightweight title will top the bill at UFC 205 at Madison Square Garden on Saturday night.

McGregor, the reigning featherweight champion, will become the first fighter ever to hold two UFC belts simultaneously if he gets the better of Eddie Alvarez.

On Sunday night, the UFC aired its countdown show for the event — ‘Fighting For History’ — on FOX Sports. It’s now available to watch via the organisation’s YouTube channel and it’s essential viewing ahead of this weekend.
