GAA confirm Croke Park double-header details

It’s going to be a busy bank holiday weekend in the capital.

THE GAA HAS confirmed the times and venues for this weekend’s round of All-Ireland SFC matches, with back-to-back double-headers set to take place in Croke Park on Saturday and Sunday.

The proceedings on Saturday will be opened by Tyrone and Roscommon at 4pm, with the victors earning a return to headquarters the following weekend for a quarter-final tie against Dublin.

That game will be followed by the showdown between Ulster champions Donegal and Kildare, which throws in at 6pm. It will be shown on RTÉ2.

After four weeks of rest, Kerry resume their title tilt at 2pm on Sunday when they take on Munster neighbours Limerick (RTÉ2), with Cork v Mayo pencilled as the second part of Sunday’s double-bill (TV3).
