GAA confirm fixture dates for conclusion to Allianz Leagues

Fixture details about the Cadbury’s All-Ireland U21 football championship have also been confirmed.

THE GAA HAVE confirmed the fixture details for the closing stages of this year’s Allianz Leagues.

The semi-finals in Division 1 of the football league take place this weekend.

While the semi-finals in Division 1 of the hurling league are pencilled in for the following Sunday, April 21st.

Then the four divisional finals in the football league are scheduled for the weekend of April 27th-28th.

While the Division 1 hurling league decider will be contested on the May weekend.

This Sunday, Croke Park will house the Division 1 semi-finals while the other big game on Sunday will be in the Gaelic Grounds as Cork and Clare bid to avoid relegation.

Sunday April 14th
Division 1 FL semi-finals

Dublin v Mayo, Croke Park, 3.45pm.
Tyrone v Kildare, Croke Park, 2pm.
Division 1A HL relegation final
Cork v Clare, Gaelic Grounds, 3pm.

Semple Stadium is the venue for the Division 1 hurling league semi-finals on Sunday week.

Sunday April 21st
Division 1 HL semi-finals

Tipperary v Dublin, Semple Stadium, Thurles, 2pm.
Kilkenny v Galway, Semple Stadium, Thurles, 3.45pm.

The four divisional football league finals will all take place in Croke Park on the weekend of April 27th-28th.

Saturday April 27th
Division 4 final
Offaly v  Limerick, Croke Park, 5pm.
Division 3 final
Meath v Monaghan, Croke Park, 7pm.
Sunday April 28th
Division 2 final
Westmeath v Derry, Croke Park, 2pm.
Division 1 final
Dublin/Mayo v Tyrone/Kildare, Croke Park, 4pm.

The Cadbury’s All-Ireland U21 football championship continues to progress this week with provincial finals down for decision in Munster and Ulster on Wednesday night.

While details of the All-Ireland semi-final ties in that competition have all been released.

Cork v Tipperary, Semple Stadium, Thurles, 7.30pm.
Ulster U21FC final
Cavan v Donegal, Brewster Park, Enniskillen, 8pm.
Saturday April 20th
All-Ireland U21FC semi-finals
Galway v Kildare, O’Connor Park, Tullamore, 2pm.
Cork/Tipperary v Cavan/Donegal, O’Connor Park, Tullamore, 3.45pm.

There is also plenty action this weekend in the lower divisions in the Allianz hurling league.
