Gary Neville fires up the touchscreen to rip Giggsy's greatest goal apart

An all-time classic? No, jokes Gary Neville – it was just a bit greedy.

PUNDITRY GOLDEN BOY Gary Neville has turned his touchscreen gadgetry on an old friend and rubbished Ryan Giggs’s greatest goal.

Neville was asked to say a few words at the HMV Football Extravaganza where Giggs received the Legend of Football Award this week.

Instead of the usual platitudes, he replayed Giggs’s 1999 FA Cup winner against Arsenal and jokingly dismantled it.

“The first thing is how he hasn’t seen that pass there into Dwight Yorke,” Neville points out to a chuckling audience.

“He continues to dribble and it’s a little bit greedy at this stage

This is horrendous play, for him not to slip that pass down the side. You can see that Dwight Yorke has pulled off the back of Martin Keown and Tony Adams is never going to stay with him.

Ultimately, as all know, Giggs rifled the ball over David Seaman and kept United’s treble dream alive.

But for Neville, it was all down to poor vision and a little bit of greed.
