Tough break: Vosloo right back on Clermont injury list

The South African returned from a five-month layoff for 28 minutes on Saturday.

SOUTH AFRICAN FLANKER Gerhard Vosloo will be out of action for up to two months after sustaining a stress fracture of the pelvis, his French club side Clermont announced this morning.

The 33-year-old Vosloo started in Saturday’s European Cup match against Exeter, but he was forced to leave the field with the injury in the 28th minute.

He had only just returned to action after five months on the sidelines with a groin injury and the Top 14 club will now plan without him for their December double-header against Leinster.

Vosloo joined Clermont in 2011 after spells in France with Brive and Castres.
