HARRY SHEARER, ONE of the main voice actors on The Simpsons since 1989, has said that he is leaving the show.

Shearer is know for voicing characters such as Ned Flanders, Mr Burns, Waylon Smithers, Lenny, Kent Brockman, Otto, Reverend Lovejoy and Principal Skinner.

It was reported earlier in the week that Shearer was holding off signing a new contract, with TMZ claiming it could be due to merchandising payments.

Will the show go on? The Simpsons announced it was renewed for two more seasons earlier this month, and is currently in it’s 26th season.

One thing’s for sure, fans aren’t happy.
