OWEN MULLIGAN WILL be hoping to recapture some of the magic of yesteryear when he lines out against Dublin in headquarters tomorrow night.
The 30-year-old, who was reported to have sensationally quit the Red Hand panel last month, scored a second-half wondergoal when Tyrone beat the Dubs at the same stage en route to All-Ireland victory in 2005.
Mulligan’s recall at right corner-forward is one of three changes made by Mickey Harte to the team which saw off Roscommon last weekend, while Martin Penrose is preferred to Tommy McGuigan in the other corner.
In the full-back line, Justin McMahon slots in to the right corner, with Dromore man Ryan McMenamin missing out as a result.
Dublin boss Pat Gilroy has named his own starting XV for tomorrow’s quarter-final, surprisingly including Eoghan O’Gara who suffered a wrist injury in the Leinster final win against Wexford.
Cian O’Sullivan’s introduction at corner-back is the only change to the Dubs side, with Paul Conlon dropping to the bench.
