IT LOOKS LIKE the good weather is planning to stay around for another week.
Meteorologist Eoin Sherlock told TheJournal.ie, ”It will probably be this day next week before we’re back into normal weather.”
“We might get a bit more cloud but we will have good spells of sunshine. Temperatures will stay in the high teens and early twenties.
“It will be a bit cooler on Sunday where highest temperatures will be 18-20 degrees celsius.
Next week we will continue to have still dry, settled and warm weather but temperatures will drop a little to the high teens and while there may be cloud in the mix it still looks largely dry.
However, reality may hit late next week with Sherlock adding that, “There looks to be a breakdown ahead next weekend”.
He added that, “We can only really give certainly for the next five days.”
The forecaster also warned of the downside of the sunny weather, “The dry, settled weather will mean some mist and fog overnight which can cause hazardous driving condition like this morning.”
