Woman being treated for head injuries after falling from window at Cavan hospital

She is in a stable condition.

A WOMAN IS being treated for head injuries after falling from a window at Cavan General Hospital.

She has been been transferred to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda, Co Louth.

A spokesperson for the HSE has confirmed to TheJournal.ie that the woman is in a stable condition.

An investigation has been launched into what happened.

The woman was a patient in the day ward.
