Giovanni Trapattoni secured his baseball cap and braved the rain to take training in Malahide this morning.

THE EUROS START here. Giovanni Trapattoni has succumbed to the wizard like talents of James McClean and has made the final inclusions to a squad of hopefuls.

If you’re not in the squad by now you may as well start booking your summer holidays, sorry to break it to you like this.

It wasn’t exactly nice weather for football, but judging from these snaps the compeition for places is starting to intensify nicely. May the best McClean win.
