Why this TD thinks we love failure in Ireland

Dara Calleary wants more encouragement for Ireland’s young entrepreneurs.

YOUNG PEOPLE ARE not getting enough encouragement to start their own business when they leave school, the Fianna Fáil TD Dara Calleary says.

In an interview with TheJournal.ie this week, the Mayo-based TD says that the culture and attitude towards entrepreneurs needs to change, as well as providing them with necessary government supports.

He also explained why he thinks ‘we love failure in Ireland’:
