VIDEO: A first look at Ireland's new home kit

Shane Long, Sean St Ledger, Simon Cox and Keiren Westwood took part in an official photoshoot ahead of the strip’s first outing against Germany next month.

ON FRIDAY, IT was announced that Ireland would be changing their home kit for the third time in less than three years.

We brought you a leaked picture of the new green Umbro jersey that Giovanni Trapattoni’s side will wear in their World Cup qualifier against Germany at Lansdowne Road on October 12 and here is footage of the official photoshoot of sponsors Three.

Outfield players Shane Long, Sean St Ledger, Simon Cox and goalkeeper Keiren Westwood donned the kit (which was oddly matched up with a two-piece suit) and gave their thoughts on the upcoming fixture.

The kit will be available in shops on October 5 but can be pre-ordered from September 28.
